SARS-COV2 is not the only virus that has been associated with myocarditis, so what role do these other viruses play in severe COVID and vaccine-related adverse events?
Post shot (terrible choice) in April 2021 I felt awful. I was tested a couple of times for EBV due to mono like symptoms. There was no evidence of recent infection but my antibodies were significant. I don’t ever recall ever having mono or mono symptoms until I had the shot. This article makes perfect sense of “long covid” by reactivated herpes family viruses.
Sorry that happened to you Matt. I think the Very Well Health article has a lot of interesting anecdotes when it comes to Long COVID after infection. Many of the symptoms are similar to Long COVID, and given that chronic fatigue syndrome has been associated with HHV reactivation it's possible that Long COVID is directly tied to SARS-COV2 itself. This unfortunately feels like another one of those circumstances where a lot of context has gotten missed because the focus on HHV reactivation focused on the shingles since those are obvious to see, but then that doesn't explain anything deeper that may be going on. It's a bit scary to think of how many myocarditis cases may be related to HHV reactivation from the shots.
Again, very impressive work. It is fascinating reading these case reports - how the body can "un-alive" itself so quickly from a reemergent viral infection. Some have proposed that it is unwise to use nanoparticles delivering a vaccine as there is no defined target and it would obviously be bad if they were taken in by myocardial cells. Imagine the surprise when HVV-6 was hiding there all along just waiting for the opportunity - truly horrifying. Again, it goes to show how we tend to focus on this one thing, but we are not in a vacuum - so many things are going on concurrently within the body.
