A very good point! Thank You for this post.

Do you know the part of the Spike sequence they've put into these Cobravax vaccines? Hotez and his friend did not patent their product so just wonder why when their research on it was already going on for so long..

So they mention that the RBD of SARS-COV2 was the focus, and in Hotez, et al. they mention that the difference between their RBD and the virus RBD is the altering of two amino acids: the N-terminal asparagine was removed which appeared to reduce hyperglycosylation, and they also swapped cysteine for an alanine at one position to reduce oligomer formation:

https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/14760584.2023.2217917

"To begin, three different constructs based on the ancestral SARS-CoV RBD219 were genetically engineered to match the original SARS-CoV-2 (Wuhan) sequence (Figure 1). They included a wild-type molecule and an N1 deleted version [Citation22]. As with the ancestral SARS antigen, the deletion of the N-terminal asparagine (N331 of the Spike protein) prevented hyperglycosylation that could interfere with both immunogenicity and production consistency. However, in addition, we found that a cysteine residue in the 538-position caused the formation of oligomers, and aggregation through intermolecular disulfide bonds. Substituting an alanine residue for the cysteine corrected this problem [Citation22]. Therefore, a new antigen known as SARS-CoV-2 RBD219-N1C1 offered multiple advantages compared to the wild-type molecule, including higher yields in fermentation, absence of hyperglycosylation and oligomer formation, as well as reduced aggregation [Citation22]. The new molecule was also amenable to purification with high yields and purity."

I would guess that one thing that may help, like you said, is that Hotez's team appears to be more transparent than Pfizer or Moderna, and so the sequence should be available online somewhere, but this appears to suggest that from an amino acid perspective the main difference is the altering of these two amino acids.

It also seems that their argument was that they spent years developing the SARS-COV vaccine focusing on the RBD, and given homology between the two RBD's I think they figured they could rush into SARS-COV2 vaccine development. I suppose they want more transparency relative to other vaccine developers as well. Hotez comments that he's not in it for the money, but I find that difficult to believe if I'm being honest. He's certainly chasing fame I would argue.

So interesting! I hate to think of the poor being used as guinea pigs, however it wouldn’t be the first time. Despicable.

It's unfortunate that this has happened quite often. The Pharmaceutical Times article mentions the scandal with the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation and the measles vaccine that had serious issues. I recall that being a huge controversy, and there was a video a few years ago from a woman discussing it. I tried looking for it but couldn't find it unfortunately.

I think the fact that these are touted as safe and effective, given to many rural, lower income areas, and then just left at that would arguably be a serious humanitarian issue, because how many of these people are likely to see follow-up and check if they have any adverse events? I doubt it, especially if the approach these people are using is to use vaccine trucks or things of the like to just pass through towns and quickly vaccinate.

Here is an article regarding the Bill and Melinda Tetanus vaccine which was found to cause sterility ! The disregard and deception in general is monumental...https://robertyoho.substack.com/p/137-bill-gates-murdered-fetuses-using?publication_id=690651&post_id=64111853#details
