I did not mention why I started writing on Substack but with everything going on I felt it’s important to talk about it.
I left my job at the end of August because I chose not to get vaccinated and my University was implementing a mandate. I didn’t choose not to get vaccinated because it’s a new vaccine, the side effects, or the threat of government tyranny (although I have become concerned of these things), I chose not to get it because it seemed extremely unethical the way these vaccines were being rolled out.
There was no reason why someone like me, in their late 20s who exercises, works out, and takes my supplements should have gotten the vaccine before my sexagenarian parents. My friend, who’s the same age as me, should not be getting her second shot while her octogenarian grandmother has to apply for a raffle to hope she got her first shot!
We spent over a year hearing people shout at one another that “you’ll kill grandma!” only to deprive grandma of a vaccine to give to millenials because grandma is white. It was an absolutely disgusting policy, and I can’t help but wonder about the thousands of elderly folk who became seriously ill or died over a policy that runs so antithetical to rational policy.
I’m tired of all of the blatant hypocrisy we have been subjected to in order to control our behavior and corral us into our metaphorical cages.
When we had a summer where healthcare workers told us to not meet each other so as not to burden the ICU while they have people severely ill with a respiratory virus that has caused many ICU patients to be put onto ventilators, that these people had the audacity to stand outside of their hospitals waving “I can’t breathe” signs because of George Floyd and we are not supposed to see how absolutely despicable that behavior was- and I would like to know how the family of those who’s loved ones were put onto ventilators while their attending physician held up those signs outside of the hospital would feel if they knew that was what was going on.
In fact, I would like to know how those people felt knowing that many of these doctors practiced supportive care, meaning they did not provide any treatments to people in the hospital. Doctors just had to hope people got better instead of intervening with therapeutics.
We’re now being told that this is a plague of the unvaccinated and that those who haven’t gotten the jab are getting people sick. We know this is a lie! Fauci himself said vaccinated people have just as high viral loads as unvaccinated, so clearly these people can still spread the disease. It’s funny how we’re not talking about asymptomatic spread anymore, cause that would include a whole bunch of vaccinated people and we can’t go around disrupting the narrative now can we?
And because we know that vaccinated people can spread it does it make sense to not test the vaccinated? How the hell is it good policy to state that vaccinated people should get tested monthly but unvaccinated people get tested weekly when anyone can become sick?
In just a matter of days we have created a tiered social order, where the puritanical, vaccinated elites hold themselves so high above the unvaxxed masses, looking down upon their supposed friends, families, and coworkers with the upmost contempt.
Lockdown has forced us into our metaphorical cages, electrified by threats from tyrants and those who enforce hegemony upon the masses. We have all participated in the largest experiment of learned helplessness, and we have become too frightened to step out of the cage lest we get shocked. And now in our state of constant fear and anxiety we kowtow to the religion of safetyism, and hope that our oppressors who continue to so frankly abuse us will allow us to one day have our freedom, and when our abusers tell us our freedoms have been locked away by our fellow citizens do we choose to face against our tyrants or instead choose to turn inwards to one another and fight amongst ourselves as our captors revel in our agony.
The masks no longer serve as a form of protection, but as a form of conformity and as an indicator of friend or foe. These masks are our safe spaces, placed right in front of our faces that we carry along with us and can never let go of.
I absolutely love science, but I cannot call whatever has been going for the last 18 months science. Instead I would call it an abomination, a gross bastardization of the scientific method, of heterodox thought that pushes scientific discourse to improve, novelize, and excel. With everything going on I no longer feel comfortable being a scientist, as I will not participate in the desecration of the corpse that we have readily paraded around as science.
I am neither left nor right, but I have become much more liberty minded. I see the values of individualism, of being free to choose your own pathway even if it means facing many adversities. I hold onto the ideas of freedom of speech, of the ability to speak your mind and to stand up for your convictions.
I once remarked at the beginning of the pandemic that there is no better time to test the strength and resilience of our Constitution, and I have become horrified to see the values we hold as a nation continuously deteriorate over the course of these past 18 months. And now, with Biden’s forced vaccine mandate, we are reaching the point of no return.
And because of that it’s important now more than ever that we speak up, that we become activated and begin to take action. It does not have to be on a large scale; it could be through any avenue you have possible, whether it be through social media or contacting politicians or even having discussions with family and friends; especially having discussions with family and friends.
I have remained somewhat reserved in my writing manner in my previous Substack posts but I will try to be more candid and express more of what I feel and make my writings more personal.
I will continue to write about the pandemic and science, but I will also write more about cultural issues and about freedom and liberty.
I will end with this video and this C.S. Lewis quote:
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be "cured" against one's will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.
We are entering into a brand new era, and I hope that you will take this journey with me.

I can feel your raw passion tempered with outrage. I agree that much of what is going on in the world today is absolutely maddening and nonsensical. And the shift to blame the vaccinated for literally everything is horrifying. We have come so far with tolerance (gender, obesity, race); yet here is another way to divide us into diametrically opposing groups. I do indeed look forward to taking this journey with you.
I'm in Australlia. I don't recognise this place anymore, and I don't recognise the people. A community that usually takes care of its own has become a country filled with people who wish harm upon their fellow man who chooses differently from them. A place where free speech has become a crime and you can be jailed for not wearing a mask. As one who has chosen to go against the grain, I am in lockdown with an indefinite stay at home order, while my vaccinated friends enjoy their "freedom", purchased with an experimental treatment, which now has been made clear will be an ongoing requirement to retain ones freedom. I don't mind staying home, I had planned to get vaccinated and still do, but I had also planned to wait until I felt the darn things had enough evidence to prove they were safe. I cannot believe this is where we are, mandated vaccines, get the jab or lose your job, get the jab or you are not allowed to be a part of society. It worries me where this is all headed, a precedent has been set for forced medical treatments, I shudder to think of where this leads us. Just 2 short years ago in Australia we were battling fires, people banded together to help one another, it's frightening how fast we went from that to fighting over toilet paper in the supermarkets
