I’m not sure why we are supposed to believe anything Fauci or the CDC have to say - they are proven wrong time and time again. Omicron is spreading like mad and I am hopeful that people will start to realize that the vaccines didn’t keep them from disease and getting Covid isn’t a death sentence. It’s time to stop being so afraid and time to start living again. It’s time to take the proper precautions for your personal circumstances. It’s time to start being compassionate to each other.
Super late response, but I agree, although my confidence tends to wax and wane. Seeing people who are fully vaccinated AND boosted still get COVID but comment that it was mild due to the vaccines instead of question why 3 doses did not confer any inhibition from infection. At the same time, it seems like this is a good place to hit back, now that so many people are getting it it seems more imperative to approach people and tie up some loose ends in the COVID narrative and have people realize what's going on.
