In 2020 it was to 'save granny'. Now it's to save 'Timmy', Next year 'Granpa' and then 'Jenny'. They cite the flawed Boston study but conveniently ignore the vast body of evidence that proves otherwise. Never mind the Nordic countries never shut schools down. Notice nowhere is this happening except mostly in Quebec and Ontario. Two places stuck in 2020.
All because we have a second-rate public health system. Spade a spade.
They'll keep choosing which victim to prop up as the moment needs it. The irony that the children are suffering as a consequence of the policies the adults are enacting, and now they are acting as if we need to return back to those same policies is ridiculous.
The other piece of the puzzle that is landing children in hospital:
There is no OTC fever reducing medicines in Canada for children. The shelves are bare. I spoke to the Pharmacist's assistant yesterday, and I asked her if it was b/c so many children were sick that it was sold-out. She said no. She told me it is the manufacturers who can't supply them and all is back-ordered. Now why would this be? Apparently, the shelves are full in Mexico and in the U.S. It's almost like they're trying to create the crisis. Who is they? Good question. On the other hand, I heard anecdotally on twitter that bilingual language on packaging was the hold up. Health Canada's latest release on Twitter re: shipments on the way, mentions specifically mentions bilingual packaging has been secured, so I suspect this is true. Who would put French above our youngest children's health? And why the sudden issue?
There is also a shortage of firstline antibiotics. I'm not sure if that only applies to Canada or elsewhere too. Apparently, our PM tweeted (or someone in his PR staff did) from the conference (spotted with Biden in matching shirts - oh, Schwab is wearing one too) that medicine is on the way for hospitals and pharmacies. Why are the world leaders hanging out with Schwab? Never mind...
It's interesting in the US. Supplements were definitely bare for the past two years and it's only been the past few months where there seems to now be adequate shelves. However, at the same time I've noticed that OTC medicine is also bare in many places as well. It's hard to if this due to supply shortage or freakout over messaging causing people to purchase OTC medications at higher rates.
Interesting hearing that a lot of this is happening in Canada. It seems to be a new epicenter to pay attention to and see if a lot of what's happening there occurs in other parts of the western world.

Never again. Yesterday I had to pick up dog meds at the vet, and dutifully called from the parking lot so meds could be brought out. They said to come inside, so in I went, barefaced, despite the two huge masking required signs at the door. “THIS MEDICAL FACILITY REQUIRES A MASK.” 🙄 Anyway, I sat and waited for 20 min, the only one sans mask, and no one said a word about it. All we have to do is stop complying.
I should comment that I am for autonomy and people choosing what they want for themselves. However, that's completely different than government actions and forced masking. Weaponizing and politicizing masking is a very dangerous game and many of these people are acting as if there is nothing wrong with their approach.
Sure, everyone else at the vet was masked. Didn’t bother me. But I’m glad they didn’t try to force me. Thank God my state won’t let them force masks in school anymore.
During the big LD or just thereafter, i masklessly watched the group of heavily-dressed Mennonite folk approach the rest stop entrance on a major highway N of toronto. Maskless, and in numbers. Perfect, i thought, that’s how its done. Calmly, middle finger up at the messed up materialistic human world of lies.

I got the same story from a small mom n pop pharmacy. The excuses are typical of the woke believers.

Not being forced is important, but there's also that bit of complacency that those in power need that I need to always be aware of personally.

They can kiss my ass.
