It's because Scott Gottlieb is on Pfizer's board. J&J didn't stack the govt deck with friendlies so they got thrown under the bus.

Yup, Pfizer threw all of the R and D money into bribes and advertising and financing of everything under the sun. They are the Sackler’s of the decade.

That could be a possibility. I found Gottlieb's constant presence in the press so strange... almost like it gave him this authority over a lot of the goings on with COVID. Strange that he was allowed so much air time given the egregious conflict of interests, and especially because he was a prime example of the government -> pharma pipeline.

Sadly I think it was the whole point. He wasn't the exception; he's the new rule.

Perhaps modRNA injections possess some needed property that viral vector lacks. I don't know, but I guess we shall see.

It's interesting to consider the unknowns with the mRNA vaccines, but given that we are seeing a lot of overlaps in adverse reactions across platforms it may suggest something not specific to the mRNA- at least not from what I can tell from the information out there, since there's a bunch of noise and any remarks about contamination and lots are correlative so we can't really determine much outside of association. The blood clots aren't specific to the adenoviral vector vaccines, but the anti-PF4 antibodies and the low platelet counts seem to be. I think it's important for people to remember the whole scope of all the vaccines available when drawing comparisons.
