I'll look into them. I was very broad in my in research given that plants contain hundreds or even thousands of bioactive compounds. This does appear to be used as an insecticide, so the general assumption is that it acts as a defensive mechanism in chrysanthemums, but to the degree that they are toxic in humans is something else to look into. I'll see what I can find and make a future post if possible.
Love the spider mums and the more exotic ones... I guess you'd have to grow from seed to be sure you aren't drinking a lot of synthetic chemicals with that tea.
