So it’s finally happened to me; I finally got COVID. Well, at least the first time I can definitively say it was COVID.
My family ended up coming down with it last week, but I didn’t start having symptoms for some time. However, my symptoms were mild, aside from a weird sudden fever that came and went overnight (apparently this is a common symptom).
So why have I been out of commission for such a mild case? Well, apparently my body decided it was a good time to start coming down with something else!
Immediately afterwards, I seemed to have gotten tonsillitis. Yes, it’s apparently possible as an adult!
I won’t go into too much detail, but I will say that it’s taken me out for nearly the entire week so I haven’t been able to write and post.
So apologies everyone for my absence this week. I appreciate that so many of you continue to read and engage within the community.
I should be good within a few days and will have more to post next week! Otherwise, I hope you all have a great weekend!
Edit: Also, in the meantime why not check out some old posts? Many of them are likely to be relevant and there may be something that you have missed! So use that search bar, type in a random word and see if I have made a post on that topic!
Hoping for a speedy recovery! By the way did you use any prophylactic or early treatment protocols (eg FLCCC) in the lead up and during infection?
Several of my family members also got a severe sore throat with Omicron. I don’t think the tonsillitis is a separate illness
