Two years on, and still no viable mainstream COVID protocols

A small commentary on the current lack of effective protocols during another summer of fear.

If we are to follow the current mainstream messaging apparatuses, we’re apparently supposed to be scared of the looming Ba.4/Ba.5 doomsday scenario. More lockdowns, returns to masking, and all of the other things that didn’t work appear to be coming back, as if now things will be different.

It’s all pretty tiring, and I’m left to wonder if I’m more tired of the people who continue to push for these nonsensical measures, or the ones who go along truly believing they will be effective this time around.
