The harm being done to kids, as well as a few more analytical prompts.
Today I wanted to present a few important stories, with both relating to the damage that has (and continues to) been done to children.
The Transitioning Craze
An article was published in Bari Weiss’ now restructured Substack called The Free Press from a woman named Jamie Reed.
Jamie Reed is a lesbian woman married to a trans man who worked at The Washington University Transgender Center at St. Louis Children's Hospital where gender-affirming practices were occurring.
Over time Reed became very disillusioned as to what was going on and eventually left, recounting her stories in an article published a few days ago.
The story is extremely harrowing. It’s always hard to read about these sorts of stories and see what is being done to children.
We’re coming to a time where many are feeling nihilistic. The future looks pessimistic and the world is growing ever more dangerous.
It’s no surprise that kids are being damaged to the degree that they are given the types of messaging that we see is out there.
This is one perspective of something that is happening all across the world to many children who are none the wiser to the actual harms of such destructive practices.
Anyways, this article has been covered by many commentators already, but I think it’s a very good read for anyone who has not taken a glance at it yet.
Stephanie de Garay’s Story
Speaking of harms being done to kids Viva Frei, a lawyer turned political commentator who covered the Canadian truck rallies had an interview with a woman named Stephanie de Garay.
For those who don’t know, Stephanie de Garay is the mother of Maddie de Garay, who was one of the participants in Pfizer’s COVID vaccine clinical trials.
Within hours of Maddie receiving the vaccine she had serious adverse reactions, leading Stephanie to try and chase around doctors to see what could be done to help Maddie.
Her story has been covered several times. Here’s one of the testimonies, although you may have come across other ones:
The story is, to use the word again, harrowing, as many appeared to have argued that Maddie’s symptoms were not in any ways related to the vaccine. Maddie’s adverse reactions were apparently recorded by Pfizer as being synonymous to stomach pains.
It’s very clear that more than just “stomach pain” has been dealt to Maddie.
But what’s interesting is that Stephanie has appeared to have gotten a lot of criticisms for putting Maddie into the clinical trials. As critical as many of us may be to doing such a thing, we have to remember that many people were sold lies, being told that the vaccines were the only way out of the pandemic.
In the Viva Frei interview Stephanie recounts how her children seemed so miserable being locked down, and so she thought that this was the “right” thing to do, especially given that people she knew (including the friends of her children) were recruited into the trials.
It’s frustrating how many people had their emotions manipulated in order to coerce them into getting vaccinated. On that front, I can understand Stephanie’s perspective, even if I find the COVID vaccination of children extremely malicious on the part of Big Pharma.
But this is also intended to point out that many, real victims of the vaccines are out there. In a strange twist, it sometimes feels as if Team Skeptic or whatever group this is may overlook cases those who have been harmed by the vaccine.
I’ve seen several Substacks where someone who raises any personal account of their injury may get questioned or mocked for getting the vaccine. How are we to figure out who are injured when people supposedly on “this side” may silence the vaccine injured themselves?
It probably goes to a wider point that many people have lost the ability to empathize with others. In order to figure out what’s going on we need more stories from the injured to shed light in the situation.
In any case, the interview between Viva and Stephanie is a very interesting one, although they also tend to cut each other off quite often. Understandable; it’s a very difficult situation.
But a few points worth looking for are the sloppiness to which the clinical trials were conducted as pointed out by Stephanie, which corroborates the story told by a Pfizer whistleblower Brook Jackson several months back.
So I encourage people to watch the interview with an open mind. Stephanie points out quite often that she already beats herself up over what has happened to Maddie. I think it’s quite apparent that she feels extremely guilty about what has happened to her daughter.
More Argumentative Reasoning Prompts (again, why not?)
Since it’s been a while I’ll include a few Argumentative Reasoning prompts to serve as food for thought. Remember that the prompts provide a scenario with limited information, in which you are asked to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the argument, as well as some aspects that would have to be answered in order to properly contextualize the scenarios provided.
Don’t worry too much about “answering” the prompt, but try and figure out the holes in some of the arguments presented.
ETS Prompt #1
ETS Prompt #2
ETS Prompt #3
So the same as the last prompts, these are more things to think about. My outline for these prompts will be provided for paid members, but feel free to ask questions when considering how to tackle the above prompts if you so choose.
Anyways, have a good Friday! It feels like we’ve just skipped over Winter and went straight into Spring. If it’s the same in your neck of the woods consider spending some time out doors this weekend!
If you enjoyed this post and other works please consider supporting me through a paid Substack subscription or through my Ko-fi. Any bit helps, and it encourages independent creators and journalists outside the mainstream.
I was only vaguely familiar with Maddie’s story prior to watching this video and I’m thankful I did. I would never fault someone who genuinely felt they were doing something for the greater good (as they have gotten a lot of slack from both sides ... surely they are suffering greatly). Hearing the details of her medical (or lack there of) treatment is just horrifying. It really just points out how the medical establishment is in lock step with the pharmaceutical companies (and neither one gives a damn about any of us). IDK, once the eyes have seen such things... there is no trust left at all.
I didn't watch the interview yet - I have seen her interviewed before, but I will check out some of this as I am appreciative of what Viva does. He did some excellent live streams last year at this time at the convoy. I do think from past interviews he needs to hone his interviewing skills.
Re: transitioning, I don't see how we can frame this as other than child abuse. The liberal government, by adding to our Canadian Human Rights code (apparently useless when turning down mRNA) the right to gender identify, made it difficult for people to speak out against what we see. And of course, it starts with the gender confusion, often seeded in education now in the name of inclusion. I will not participate. If an adult chooses to do what they will to their body, that is on them. I don't think my taxes should pay, but my main objection is the damage to our kids. I was a Tomboy until about age 10-11. There for the grace of God go I...
