All I want for Christmas...

Hint: Not a Mariah Carey song!

I’d just like to take this time to thank readers for all of the support this year! It’s still a bit surprising to think that my out-of-nowhere Substack was able to see the level of readership that it has, and I’m very thankful of that!

So I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and your loved ones! May this season bring joy, and may the coming year be filled with happiness and hope!

Now, this post does mention something that I would want for Christmas, so what exactly do I want?

Well, aside from wishing good health and joy to readers, if readers are considering a gift please consider becoming a paid member for the small Substacks out there. With the constant changing that Substack is undergoing I think many smaller, hard-working writers are going unrecognized while many larger Substacks continue to flourish. There are plenty of people who would be grateful for such a gift!

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to post as much since going back to the 9-5 grind, so I would be understanding if paid readers would like to end their subscriptions, but again if doing so please consider those smaller writers out there!

But regardless, once again I wish you all a great holiday season filled with love, good health, friendships, and to be honest relaxation. We all need it don’t we?
